Amy's Quilt

Amy got her quilt yesterday so I can finally post pictures. She was so excited! I also sent her some of my knitted booties and mitts.

And a close-up:

And Amy with her quilt in the peaceful green baby's room:)

The quilt is very similar to the purple scrap quilt I made for myself, except I didn't want to make all those flying geese and square in a square blocks so I filled in one block with 4 patches and I really like the way the quilt turned out.

It is absolutely gorgeous!! I can't tell you what a blessing it is to have my Momma Kathy send me a baby quilt to wrap our sweet pumpkin up in once he or she arrives. It is bright and vibrant and happy and exuberant--perfect for lifting a pregnant lady's spirits! And if you've never seen how cute her baby booties are you are missing out! They are so stinkin' adorable. Love you!!
