What's on my design wall today

This...

Judy Laquidara's Big Star Stash Quilt. I opted for pieced border #1 and it took a bit of figuring out with Electric Quilt. I had just enough of the border fabric and that was a challenge! It's very directional and I cut one of the strips wrong and had to piece it, but you'll never see it! I had to figure out how to cut 4 borders with 2 pieced strips to each border and make sure I had enough fabric to do it! Took me most of yesterday afternoon. I'll have to find a different fabric to bind it with... nothing but scraps left :)

Very pretty Kathleen! Great job piecing the quilt!

I am curious what method do you use to make your half-square triangles?

Happy sewing!

P.S. I am glad you are sewing! I am taking it easy this summer and reorganizing my sewing room.

I found your blog through Zlaty. I must say that your quilts are wonderful and refreshing. I'll have to visit again!!

I loved this quilt especially in person, and was happy to be able to find the pattern. Can't wait until I'm out of the splint and can cut fabric again...I can sew but cutting left-handed is a no-go. Thanks for the ride yesterday.

This is such a pretty quilt. I wish I had the EQ program, I need to upgrade my computer first. I like the border very much.

That is a stunning quilt. I am quite impressed with the border. I haven't begun to learn EQ yet but you seem to have mastered it.
