My purple quilts

I have had a lot of wonderful comments about my purple scrap quilts and the pattern. This is the first one I made:

Then I changed direction and made this quilt for Amy...

The first purple was much too large for a lap quilt and I had tons of 5" squares left over so I made a smaller one...

It is a two block quilt using the 54-40 or fight block and the cups and saucers block. Amy's quilt and the purple lap quilt are variations of the first quilt. It had so many flying geese blocks, which I can't make using my 5" squares so I substituted 4 patches to create a different look.

If you have EQ6 and would like a copy of my project file, send me an e-mail.

That is a wonderful quilt. My daughter in law tells me that her favorite color is purple. Would you mind if I copied your quilt.....

Hi Kathy,

I love your purple quilt! But the orange one is nice too! I would love a copy! :)
Thank you so much!!! I need more practice with EQ6, so that will be good practice!

Happy sewing!
