Wasn't it a great show?? The quilts were the very best part, but there was so much other fiber stuff to see also. I bought a tatting shuttle! I watched some YouTube videos of tatting tonight and think I have the basic knot figured out. I think I want to start making lace (not really, but I really want to collect some of those bobbin thingies!) Thanks for the slide show to remind me of what I saw -- and also for the comment. I totally changed the green/orange quilt and will start putting the blocks together tomorrow. I'll post a pic soon. Mary
My name is Kathleen and I live east of Albuquerque in an area known as the East Mountains at an elevation of 7200 feet. My husband and I built our dream home in 1999. I have two grown children, a daughter who lives in Albuquerque and a son and his wife who live in Baltimore, Maryland, and have two daughters and another on the way. I am a member of the Over the Mountain Quilt Guild in Edgewood, New Mexico.
